September is a time of welcome, of doors opening to the future. Dream Big is the invitation that accompanies the arrival of new students at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Some are driven by childhood dreams, others by curiosities that emerged later, by meaningful experiences or by someone who inspired them to make a difference. After working hard to get into the programmes they aspired to, they are now preparing for a new challenge: to grow with their dream and help it grow.

Universidade Católica Portuguesa's Porto Campus will be home for the years ahead. The corridors, the lawn and the classrooms will soon be filled with new stories and ambitions. In September, new learning journeys begin, from the classroom to the laboratory or real-world work environments. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore new interests, in Porto or around the world; take part in academic life, events and projects; volunteer, discover different realities and contribute to the community.

A journey shaped by knowledge, but also by experiences, relationships and discovery. This is where the dream truly starts to take shape, in the Bachelor’s programmes in Bioengineering, Nutrition Sciences, Religious Sciences, Liberal Sciences, Cinema, Art Conservation and Restoration, Law, Economics, Nursing, Management, Microbiology, Psychology, Sound and Image, Theology and the Double Degree in Law and Management..

Dream Big: Meet our students' dreams

Before the first classes begin, there is time to get to know the university, its spaces, professors and fellow students, and to start becoming part of the academic community. This is the purpose of the welcoming activities prepared for new students, such as the Welcome Session at Católica's Porto Campus 2026/27, on 3 September, and the integration activities organised by the different faculties throughout the first weeks of September.

A new journey is about to begin. Dream Big.
